Privacy Policy
MenloVox is a cloud voice-changing platform for creators, streamers, virtual presenters, and account holders who choose to process audio through supported AI voice services. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have when using MenloVox.
Last updated: June 8, 2026
1. Who we are
MenloVox provides a web-based dashboard that allows users to sign in, manage billing, connect an ElevenLabs API key or use approved hosted voices where available, configure voice settings, and submit support requests. MenloVox is not Google, ElevenLabs, Stripe, our email, hosting, security, payment, and infrastructure service providers to operate the platform.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use MenloVox, we may collect:
- Account information: email address, name if provided by your sign-in provider, user ID, sign-in method, account status, and administrative flags such as suspension status.
- Authentication information: Google OAuth account identifiers, email sign-in verification tokens, session records, timestamps, and security/rate-limit events.
- Billing information: Stripe customer IDs, checkout sessions, subscription status, payment events, pricing plan, credit grants, and credit usage records. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Voice configuration data: selected Voice ID, account mode, input/output preferences, hosted voice selections, credit balance, and usage history required to operate the service.
- ElevenLabs API-key data: if you choose to bring your own ElevenLabs account, your API key may be encrypted and stored so MenloVox can submit your authorized voice-conversion requests. You can disconnect it from your dashboard.
- Audio data: short audio chunks you choose to submit for conversion during testing or live voice-changing sessions. Audio is processed only to provide the requested voice transformation.
- Technical and security data: IP-derived rate limiting identifiers, browser/user-agent data, request logs, abuse prevention signals, Turnstile verification results, and error logs.
- Support data: name, email address, subject, message details, abuse reports, setup questions, and any files or text you voluntarily provide through support channels.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and secure your MenloVox account.
- Provide Google sign-in and email magic-link sign-in.
- Send voice-conversion requests you authorize.
- Validate ElevenLabs API keys and Voice IDs.
- Operate subscriptions, credit balances, and top-up purchases.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, scraping, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to support requests and investigate abuse reports.
- Debug errors, maintain reliability, and improve the product.
- Comply with legal, tax, billing, security, and platform obligations.
4. Google sign-in
MenloVox may use Google OAuth so you can sign in without creating a separate password. When you use Google sign-in, Google may share basic profile information such as your email address, name, and a provider-specific account identifier. We use that information only to create and manage your MenloVox account and sessions.
MenloVox does not ask for your Google password, does not read your Gmail, does not access Google Drive, and does not request broad Google account permissions for this sign-in flow.
5. Email sign-in
If you use email magic-link sign-in, MenloVox sends a short-lived sign-in link to the email address you provide. We use Resend or a similar email delivery provider to deliver those emails. Magic links should not be forwarded or shared.
6. ElevenLabs API keys and voice processing
MenloVox may allow you to connect your own ElevenLabs API key. This is optional. If you provide an API key, it is stored in an encrypted form and used only to make voice-conversion requests that you initiate through MenloVox. You can disconnect the key from your dashboard.
If hosted platform voices are enabled, MenloVox may process your authorized audio through a platform-controlled ElevenLabs account using approved voices. Hosted voice access may require payment, credits, additional approval, or usage limits.
You are responsible for having the rights, consent, and legal basis necessary to use any selected voice, uploaded/generated voice, or audio content. MenloVox must not be used for deception, impersonation, fraud, harassment, illegal surveillance, or other harmful conduct.
7. Audio retention
MenloVox is designed to process short audio chunks for voice conversion. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, MenloVox is not intended to be a permanent audio storage service. Temporary processing data, logs, and error records may exist for operational, security, debugging, billing, or abuse-prevention purposes.
8. Payments and billing
Payments are handled by Stripe. MenloVox may store Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, product/price IDs, payment event IDs, invoice/payment status, and credit ledger entries. Stripe processes payment details under its own policies. MenloVox does not store full credit card numbers or CVV codes.
9. Security and abuse prevention
MenloVox uses measures such as session controls, encrypted secrets, security checks, honeypots, rate limits, audit logs, payment verification, abuse controls, and administrative suspension tools. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues promptly.
11. Sharing with service providers
We may share limited information with vendors needed to operate the service, including hosting, database, authentication, email, payment processing, object storage, security, analytics, observability, and AI voice-processing providers. These providers may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Your choices
- You can choose Google sign-in or email sign-in where available.
- You can disconnect your ElevenLabs API key from your dashboard.
- You can stop live voice sessions at any time.
- You can manage billing through Stripe customer portal where available.
- You can contact support to request help with account access or data questions.
13. Children
MenloVox is not intended for children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect data from children. Some features may require users to be older depending on applicable law, payment terms, platform rules, or voice/AI usage rules.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as MenloVox changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of MenloVox after an update means you accept the updated policy.
